Carbonell - All I Know

I wrote this new song about seasonal changes; a metaphor for life.  It's also about how when you really care about someone a lot of other factors don't matter.  All that matters is the way you feel.

Cool Restuarant Gig

I played a gig the other day with some very fine young players: Devin Norris - Piano, Jay Johnson - Bass, and Albert Law - Drums.  We were playing at Il Lido Di Manhattan.  Here's a sample of us playing one of my favorite tunes called Stella by Starlight.

I saw this clip of Chris Del Moro wearing a cool beanie, so I decided to copy the design.  Double crochet with spaces in between.  It took me forever to figure out how to make it seamless, but I finally got it!  Yes!  Check out this vid

Jazz Music Gig

Here are a few recordings from a recent gig I did.  I wanted to experiment with different camera angles, so I put my flip video camera down by my feet.  Check it out!  This was a from a CD release party at The Steel Pit in Tujunga CA yesterday with a band I play in called "The Happiness Jazz Band".
