Made some new hats.  Feeling the stripes these days.

I am you 

and you are me

and that is how it's supposed to be 

but fear can tear us apart

take us to where we 

started back when

I was me

we were who we shouldn't be 
but we're not afraid any more

unless you learn to 

start to see what you can only dream 

like two stars in the sky 

who deny the light 

the sun arrives and 

shines on every thing

toward the light

all I ask of you in return 

is be truthful when you say 

three words 

so short and never ending 

long ago they were betrayed

again and again

so cautiously slow

drifting away
