I made two matching hats in an opposite style. Primary colors! Wanted to go with a two-tone vibe on these.

Ned Land
I'm working on this song about a character from a book. His name is Ned Land. This is only the beginning part of the song so far.
Ned Land
throw the harpoon in your hand
kill the whale and tell the tale
Ned Land
on the shore you won't stand
you're trapped in the abyss on the Nautilus
Ned Land
throw the harpoon in your hand
kill the whale and tell the tale
Ned Land
on the shore you won't stand
you're trapped in the abyss on the Nautilus

You Alone
you alone
you alone
you alone are adored
you have given
you have shown
you alone
in this place
your grace
brokenness falls
there is to see
what has not been known
you alone
you alone
you alone are adored
you have given
you have shown
you alone
you alone
you alone are adored
you have given
you have shown
you alone
in this place
your grace
brokenness falls
there is to see
what has not been known
you alone
you alone
you alone are adored
you have given
you have shown
you alone

Ship Under Water
Trying something different with this song. The brass quintet samples are trumpet, french horn, two trombones, and bass trombone. This song was inspired by the book 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea by Jules Verne. I added a tenor sax solo for emotional emphasis. Kinda mixing mediums here!
ship under water
like a ship under water
ship under water
like a ship under water
breath escaping in a bubble
breaking near the surface
light is fading into darkness
danger fills all boundaries
ship under water
like a ship under water
ship under water
like a ship under water
sinking fast
straight to the bottom
soon anchored in the sand
crumbled hull
shattered mast
tides to strong to swim against
ship under water
like a ship under water
ship under water
like a ship under water
ship under water
like a ship under water
ship under water
like a ship under water
breath escaping in a bubble
breaking near the surface
light is fading into darkness
danger fills all boundaries
ship under water
like a ship under water
ship under water
like a ship under water
sinking fast
straight to the bottom
soon anchored in the sand
crumbled hull
shattered mast
tides to strong to swim against
ship under water
like a ship under water
ship under water
like a ship under water

Seal Beach Pier Surfing Song
I wrote a pop punk song about surfing at Seal Beach Pier. If you surf there I think you might get it.
You go left and I'll go right
We'll split the peak in the morning light
Walk to the nose before it gets steep
We can hang our toes even in our sleep
if I fall I hope you don't get hit
I'll swim to the shore to retrieve it
the sea is cold and the sky is grey
but that last ride will stay in my thoughts all day
I wanna hear those people scream
looking down drinking their coffee with sugar and cream
they don't see me hanging five
because they're barely alive
walking on the pier is overrated anyway
call me a kook and tell me what you know
about rules and fools and which way to go
just shut your mouth and paddle away
I'll see you in the parking lot some day
kick out strong and let it fly
watch those colors soaring by
I'll ding the shit out of this log
break the rail on rocks in the fog
I wanna hear those people scream
looking down drinking their coffee with sugar and cream
they don't see me hanging five
because they're barely alive
walking on the pier is overrated anyway
The inside's full of broken glass
and high school kids ditching their class
I'm way too old to do this shit
said the grey haired man who's really fit
some girls smell nice as they pass by
with bright big smiles and gleaming eyes
surfing's all I wanna do
when the ocean's flat it makes me feel blue
I wanna hear those people scream
looking down drinking their coffee with sugar and cream
they don't see me hanging five
because they're barely alive
walking on the pier is overrated anyway
I wanna hear those people scream
looking down drinking their coffee with sugar and cream

Different Faces
I just finished this new song. I play a few different instruments on this one including alto sax and flute. It was a fun and challenging project.
Different faces
stolen places we share
change is subtle
pieces move around
try to be still
balance on the edge
new friends and lovers
one than another
how much more?
gone are the old days
when you were mine and I was yours
try to disappear
forced to face our fears
nothing's ever easy
so hold on tight for one more night
march forward gracefully through the past and be free
different faces
stolen places
Different faces
stolen places we share
change is subtle
pieces move around
try to be still
balance on the edge
new friends and lovers
one than another
how much more?
gone are the old days
when you were mine and I was yours
try to disappear
forced to face our fears
nothing's ever easy
so hold on tight for one more night
march forward gracefully through the past and be free
different faces
stolen places
